You are looking at a long deck launch with the following details:
25 feet long with 6 foot beam
Construction is Cypress planking.
Year is a mystery, but possibly as early as 1911.
Power: Two Engines included with this single engine boat. A Miller and a Universal.
Comes with original Miller Engine which is a 12hp 4 cylinder. I was told that the engine had new babbet bearings poured and never tried to start after that. I took the Miller out and replaced it with a 1914 Universal Flexi Four 12hp. The Universal pushed the boat well, but started spitting oil (rings?), so there is no engine currently in the boat. Both the Miller and Universal will go with the boat.
I replaced the stem all the way down to the keel when I got the boat about 13 years ago.
A bit of a barn find, but not rotten.
Some cracked ribs and lots of cosmetics.
If I was keeping it, I would caulk the hull, repair the universal, and go for a ride.
Trailer is sound but not road tested for 13 years. Brakes don't work on it.
I'm happy to answer questions. Thanks for looking! This is an 08 Mud Buddy boat with an 07 Briggs/Vanguard 35 hp motor with tilt and trim. The boat is considered a semi V bottom. The trailer has a swing away tongue and new tires from spring of 2021. Quick pop up/down duck hunting blind. LED bow mounted lighting. On board battery charger. 55 lbs MinnKota trolling motor. Front entry trailer steps. 2 fishing locators. Trolling motor and engine both have new batteries from spring of 21 and have never been used. This boat is READY TO HUNT!!!! This boat is only being sold because a good friend of mine is retiring from hunting, and getting rid of all his equipment. This is all top of the line gear in excellent condition. The boat has always been garaged. He used the boat 2-3 times a year with about an hour drive time on it each outing. That is between 28 and 42 hours on the engine. There is no hour meter on the engine, but you will be able to tell by the prestine condition of this rig how it has been taken care of. Everything works as intended from the manufacturer.
