1957 15 feet Berglund Sportsflyte Diplomat Runabout Vintage Investment Quality Woody.
One of the coolest old school woodies ever built with original "baked potato" outboard and original trailer. I had originally bought it to pull behind my red 1957 Thunderbird to car shows and I bet Best of Show would be guaranteed every time! My plans have changed and foreign relocation forces sale. The hull was glassed over years ago in order to reduce below waterline maintenance. She currently has decent bottom paint and ready for both fresh and saltwater. She is true attention grabber and showstopper guaranteed to steal the show at EVERY restaurant, launch ramp, boat and car shows, or just sitting pretty on display etc. Few months ago I commissioned $700 custom off white Sunbrella boat cover. Its still new, never used, nicely folded in its own carry bag.

DESCRIPTION
You are looking at the last of an era Century Boats last production wooden boat, the Coronado with the sliding roof and sliding side glass. Its power by a rebuilt Chrysler 440 CI with dual 4 bbl carbs, factory rated at 330 hp. The boat belonged to a wealthy gentleman that had a sizable classic car collection. This boat was restored to a vey high level, down to the vinyl coverd decks, full polish on all the stainless steel fixtures, the stamping of the correct emblems was sourced and done to factory standards. The motor was rebuilt to factory specifications. It has two flags that are removeable for transport, it was stored with race fuel and always kept inside. It has a flexible sealant applied to the bottom of the hull, this boat is boat show ready or just pleasure cruise ready. We put it on the water last week and it ran very good. We were mobbed at the gas station and the boat ramp, people wanting to know what it is. This is a beautiful boat and will give the next caretaker years of enjoyment. Our premium shipping service includes palletized and enclosed door to door transportation inside the contiguous United States. Your motorcycle is carried by experienced, properly licensed, and insured shippers with proven track records. The price for shipping to your state can be found by clicking your state below. It includes $5000 in damage insurance. These quotes are for two wheeled motorcycles. If you are shipping a trike, plan on 30-40% more cost. Transit time typically falls between 14-21 calendar days for contiguous US shipments. Faster shipping can be arranged at an additional cost.

International shipping ranges from $1500-$4500 USD. The buyer is responsible for the destination country's fees, taxes, and duties.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS:
While we make every effort to accurately describe our vehicles, please understand you are purchasing a used vehicle. They come with no warranty express or implied from our dealership. However, the vehicle you purchase may have factory warranty remaining. Texas Best Used Motorcycles also offers extended warranties for your peace of mind. We encourage all buyers to look at the vehicle in person or order an inspection by a third party prior to the auction ending. Please review the numerous high resolution pictures carefully, as well as watch the Youtube video of the vehicle located at the top of the auction. PAYMENT TYPES:
Wire Transfers, Cashier's Checks, Personal Checks, Cash in Person
FEES:
All buyers will be charged a $125 documentary fee. This helps us with costs associated with title and bank paperwork and while it is a far cry from absorbing all the costs, it helps us keep the costs of our motorcycles low. Buyers will also be subject to a $195 dealer preparation fee. This fee goes to absorb the costs of oil changes, service work, professional details and photography. The last fee is a state required vehicle inventory tax. It is charged at a rate of .2384% of the selling price, which equates to $23.84 for every $10,000 of purchase price. Buyers will also be responsible for all state and local taxes and fees. The $195 dealer preparation fee is included in the advertised price.
TERMS:
A $500 non-refundable partial payment is due immediately. Buyer must contact our office within 24 hours of auction close. The balance must be received within 7 business days via wire transfer, cash, or check. All checks are subject to 10 day hold. All bidders with 0 or negative feedback must contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, your bid may be canceled. If these terms are not adhered to, we reserve the right to relist or otherwise sell the vehicle.
BUYER PICKUP:
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at area airports when necessary. Buyers must schedule pickup prior to making travel arrangements.
