Being Relisted Again Do To Another Non Paying Bidder Please Do Not Bid IF You Do Not Intend To Pay!
Up for bid is a 1995 Bayliner Capri 1850 Boat With Trailer. Condition is "Used". I bought this boat a last year with the intentions of using it this summer, but as work dictates, I am not going to be able to do that, and I need the space in my garage. The boat has a Mercruiser 4.3 engine. It will need a new starter The old one is currently of, and I haven't got the new one installed yet. The new one I have will be included with the boat. I have a clear title for the boat, no title for the trailer. The trailer will come with a bill of sale. The lights and brakes do not work very good on the trailer so it is probably going to need some rewiring. This is a good boat for somebody who is willing to do a little tinkering. What you see is what you get, may need a little interior work depending on your preference. Would probably make a good ski boat for somebody. A

YOU ARE LOOKING AT A VERY RARE 1956 DIXIE CRAFT 16ft RUNABOUT BOAT. MECHANICALLY IT IS WATER READY AND RUNS GREAT. IT WAS MADE IN CHATTANOOGA TENNESSEE BY THE HODGE BOAT MANUFACTURING COMPANY TO COMPETE WITH CHRIS CRAFT THAT ALSO HAD A FACTORY IN CHATTANOOGA AT THAT TIME. THIS BOAT IS VERY RARE AND IT IS BELIEVED TO BE THE ONLY ONE IN EXISTENCE. FROM THE RESEARCH I HAVE DONE IT IS CONSTRUCTED FROM AFRICAN MAHOGANY. THIS BOAT HAS NO ROT AND IS ALL ORIGINAL. IT HAS A 35hp 50th ANNIVERSARY EVINRUDE LARK OUTBOARD.  THE ENGINE RUNS GREAT AND HAS ALL ORIGINAL CONTROLS. IT IS ELECTRIC START AND CHOKE AND IT ALL WORKS AS IT SHOULD. IT HAS A NEW BATTERY, GAS TANK AND BILGE PUMP. THE GUY I GOT IT FROM PUT MARINE CAULK ON THE BOTTOM BECAUSE HE DIDN'T KNOW THE WOOD WOULD SWELL. PERSONALLY I WOULD REMOVE THAT.  THIS BOAT SAT IN A BUILDING FOR YEARS AND THATS WHY IT IS IN SUCH GOOD CONDITION. I CAN'T FIND ANY BAD SPOTS ANYWHERE. THE TRAILER IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH GOOD TIRES. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO ASK. I AM NOT AN EXPERT ON THESE BOATS BY ANY MEANS SO IF YOU NEED CERTAIN INFORMATION JUST ASK AND I'LL TRY TO HELP. YOU ARE WELCOME TO COME LOOK AT THE BOAT IN PERSON BEFORE YOU BID. THANKS FOR LOOKING. GOOD LUCK ON WINING THIS REALLY COOL BOAT.
