I suspect York County Marine is the only entity on the entire planet Earth that actually has three Boston Whaler 110 Tenders available.
Amidst all the crazy covid inspired shortages, last year Boston Whaler pulled the plug on their eleven foot line -I could insert something here like “but you can’t sink a Whaler” -but that’d be going for the low hanging fruit, and I’d like to think we’re at least a little better than that…
It didn’t take long for us to see an uptick in
demand for 110s on the used market, primarily from disappointed yacht owners looking to purchase a quality fiberglass tender.
We sold several, so we try to keep at least one around.
Designed primarily as a tender, the 110 also makes a great chase boat for the local yacht club sailing team, a safe and stable starter boats for the grandkids, a fun little skiff for catching stripers and sunsets with someone you like, or perhaps a means of brief respite from that same special someone.
The goal for this boat was to be compact, stable, safe and capable of carrying a load.
To achieve this, the stout little 110 is 424 lbs, twice the weight and 6” wider than her Classic 11’ predecessor.
Unlike the Classic, the 110 also has completely flat decks and higher sides, making it easier and safer to walkabout.
The obvious tradeoff being performance, the Classic 11 is a faster boat.
Leaving the Classic 11’s wooden benches in the past, the all fiberglass interior of the 110 makes for a true hose-it-off-and-go utility Whaler with lot’s of personality.
These cute little boats will float in a shallow puddle, can be towed by a cocker spaniel, easily fit the garage, or under a Christmas Tree, they’re rated for four people, can also be rowed, and they can’t sink.

picked this one up from a freshwater lake in northern Georgia, she belonged to an older gentleman who put
very few hours on the motor.
Somehow the 20 HP motor has 9.9 HP decals on the cowling - something sometimes accidentally done by folks on horsepower restricted freshwater lakes...
She's in fantastic condition, has navigation lights, an automatic bilge pump a bimini top, and a custom boat cover.
She's available for $12k w/out trailer. We may have a trailer if needed.

Original and Very Rare Whaler - 1971
According to Boston Whaler, she was built on January 6th, 1971 and
first delivered to a dealer on 02/24/1971 in Nisswa, Minnesota on a February 24th, 1971.
Making her one of the very first Sourpuss models ever produced and one of the first 13' Whalers with the "new smirk" hull!
Sourpuss - all the way from the freshwater lakes of Minnesota!
The Sourpuss version of the Classic 13 Whaler has a center mounted steering wheel on a lull length console, as apposed to the right side mounted smaller console of the Sport or Super Sport.
There is also a wrap around stainless rail which goes behind the backrest of the primary bench seat - and blue cushions on the both benches and backs - this paid homage to the blue jean craze of the early 70s.
This special little whaler was repowered in 1977 with a new 35 horsepower Johnson.
We bought her from an older couple in Minnesota and trucked her to our online dealership in Virginia. They were the second owners, having bought her in 1983.
So far, she's never been in salt water!
