1972 Boston Whaler 13 Classic. A great boat in great shape! It has the small bait well and iconic aqua colored deck that was only available for a couple of years. This boat is a LOT of fun. I purchased it from a friend who clocked its top speed at 36 kts. The fuel pump was just rebuilt and it feels more powerful than ever, I wouldn't be surprised if it is even faster now. Lower drain tube was replaced last year. The woodwork is in excellent condition, the console was rebuilt by the previous owner. Includes Lowrance X-4 fish finding sonar. See all the great pictures. It is powerful enough to get a grown man up on water skis.
Includes trailer with new lights and bearing buddies on the wheels (fillable with a grease gun to keep water out).
Suzuki DT 40 (40 horse power) outboard has a very good variable oil metering system so you don't have to premix gas and oil. The oil is automatically metered and mixed with the gas depending on the speed of the motor which is cleaner, more efficient, and more powerful than premixed fuel at a constant ratio.
Motor has new spark plugs and rebuilt fuel pump. Carburetor was just cleaned and is running great. There are a few other new parts like the oil tank cap and lid gasket. New anode on bracket. Lower gear oil changed last year.
6.5 gal fuel tank has brand new hose and bulb. One fuel tank will allow you to cruise for 5 hours with fuel to spare. Battery is in great shape and provides plenty of power every time. Motor starts with just the bump of the key.
Equipment included: 4 life jackets and case, 2 bumpers, 2 folding seats, 1 throw-able flotation device, bow and stern lines, Lowrance fish finding sonar, tie-down strap, 3 drain plugs, 2 keys, paddle, replacement fuel hoses and filter and housing, repair manual, water intake muffs, tarp cover and rope.
