Some things to remember when buying a “refurbished” or “rebuilt” pump. Avoid any pumps that only give you a vague description of what’s been done to it. (Example “any defective components replaced” know exactly what your new pump is getting) Always make sure your new pump is getting a new lift ram (any defects in a used ram will allow water in making your new pump freeze up when you need it most). I’d think twice about buying a pump that was assembled using Teflon plumbers tape to seal the joints. That stuff breaks down over time and clogs your pump up. Also make sure you’re getting new couplers, a new crossover spring and a new starter motor. Don’t put your trust in to 30 year old parts in a blizzard. Thanks for looking
