My buddy's grandfather has had this boat since the 70's and can remember going fishing with him. He passed in the early 2000's and the boat has been stored inside the basement. It appears the boat is a late 1950's Texas Maid Tahiti aluminum boat. I have enclosed a link at the bottom of the listing to help an interested party. The boat is all aluminum and has been repainted at some point in its life. Equipped with a Johnson 135 hp motor that hasn't been started in 20 years, we haven't tried to start it either. The floor has been remodeled in the 90's the best that can be remembered. The trailer is in good shape and has new tires on it and is safe to travel. This boat would make an excellent project for a rebuild and would look great restored. Boat will come with a Bill of Sale only and had been registered for use in 2000 with the TWRA.

This senior owned boat spent her life on Lake Norman, just outside of Charlotte, never seeing saltwater until this summer!
The 200 is a larger version of the 180, a boat that we are very fond of at YCM, and like the 180 Dauntless, she has the huge rear bench seat which folds flat for fishing when not in use.
The 200 however has a larger center console with a porta-pottie making a her a true all day boat.
The ride quality is excellent, there are cup holders, cushions and storage everywhere.
She’s powered by a Mercury Four Stroke 150 Verado with 560 hours and controlled by Mercury’s DTS system (Digital Throttle and Shift).
Also referred to as “fly by wire”, this means no traditional shift cables, just electronic wires which makes shifting quick and less clunky, it also makes acceleration extremely smooth and responsive.
We refer the 180 Dauntless as “the relationship saver” because it has that rarely seen combination of ample seating for family or social boating and the highly desirable center console layout preferred by fisherman - a compromise, often ending many boat shopping arguments between spouses.
The 200 Dauntless is all that plus more space, larger bow lounging area, a private head, and the ride quality afforded by a 20’ hull.
